This week The Chef will be serving...
Sunday: grilled steaks, fresh green beans, black eyed peas cooked with some okra (like my Mema makes), Shiner bread
Monday: grilled chicken, brown rice, grilled asparagus and corn on the cob, fresh tomatoes
Tuesday: shrimp with lemon and garlic, succotash, Shiner bread
Wednesday: soba noodles and beef stir fry, spicy cabbage
Thursday: left-overs
Friday: grilled chicken, steamed vegetables
Saturday: hamburgers, oven fries
I was a baking machine this last week. To keep the Carb Gods in check we will be having fruit or popsicles for sweet treats. Or at least that's the plan.
Just wondering: Is this helpful to those of you in Blog Land? If it is getting dull or isn't useful let me know. I have no deep attachment to sharing the week's menu.
