Booyah, Cartier

I'm not all that into jewelry.

I hardly ever wear earrings.

I never change-up my rings.

I'll wear a bracelet. Maybe add a string of beads.

The Mr. got off lucky in this department. I remind him of that fact from time to time. Some women want jewels, I'm after camera lenses.

But summer is just around the corner.

That means a more simple wardrobe: tank tops, t-shirts, worn jeans, cut-offs.

I was in need of some new baubles to dress things up a bit.

Nothing fancy.

A simple strand of tiny beads.

I credit Lia with showing me how to add a clasp.

She's made me a few of these little necklaces. I love them.

They go with everything. Dressy or casual.

I had to have a couple more.

While I was at it, I chose my favorite earth-toned beads and made a longer necklace with a bit more pizazz.

Well, my version of pizazz anyway.

I topped-off my bead-session with some new bracelets.

The hodgepodge look of various glass beads is stellar.

And there you have it.

New jewelry.
